Biography

Metalourd began 24 years ago in Salem, Ohio as a full blown party band and purveyor of all that was hard and heavy at the time. The band, at first, featured Gorf, Johnny Claw, Scott Little, Ken "Low Rent" Kelly and Scott Snyder. After awhile, music changed, the scene changed, Metalourd changed. They moved into a new, heavier type of music; the "Thrash Metal" scene! There were a few more line-up changes thru the years, different drummers & different guitar players, but always with mainstays Gorf and Johnny Claw keeping things anchored down. Metalourd kept moving on with the extraordinary guitar work of Arin AND the killer drum-work of Rob. The music and tightness of this band is now positioned to move to the next level! This year, with getting signed to Matchless Records, and playing larger shows to larger audiences along with their local shows and fans, Metalourd intends on rocking into the next decade!
